Learn moreLa Mélodie des Quartiers is a youth-focused association created in 2020 in Paris by music producer Davidson Alle and sponsored by artist Jok'air and Miss Réunion 2022. The association works to open new perspectives and offer opportunities to young people often far from cultural institutions. At the heart of our mission, we implement concrete actions to make culture and reading accessible to all. We have already produced and distributed over 300,000 books free of charge in 150 primary schools across France, mainly in priority neighborhoods. These books, including comics and stories adapted for young readers, are designed, illustrated, and sometimes co-written with primary school students. We believe that access to reading is a powerful lever for broadening horizons and reducing social inequalities. In parallel, we offer introductory workshops in creative industry professions such as drawing, video editing, radio, and singing. These workshops are led by audiovisual and music creation professionals. The goal is to encourage young people to discover careers that can offer them a future in sectors still too inaccessible to them. Our association has already collaborated with several foundations and brands to carry out our projects. Today, we wish to establish lasting partnerships with organizations that share our vision of equal opportunity and supporting young people toward a better future.
