
1. Data controller
Featuring is responsible for processing the data collected on the Site. This data is processed to ensure the proper functioning of the Site and to make sure that User requests are fulfilled.
The processing of personal data has been declared in accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 (as amended) and European Regulation No. 2016/679/EU of 27 April 2016 (GDPR).
In accordance with this rule, the User is informed that Featuring implements personal data processing and that they benefit from a right of access, rectification, portability and erasure of their data, as well as a right to restrict processing and, for legitimate reasons, to object to the processing of data concerning them.
2. Personal data collected
The personal data that may be collected on the Site are as follows:
Account creation: when you create your account, your last name, first name, phone number, email, and Instagram handle are notably recorded.
Payments on the site: no banking data is stored in our database. All payment management is handled by our partner Verifone. The User can find out more about the security of our partner's payments via their official website.
3. Purposes of processing
Your personal data is used primarily for the following purposes:
- Verification and authentication of your data;
- Management of payment services.
4. Data retention period
Your personal information is kept for as long as necessary during the lifetime of your user account, unless:
- you exercise, under the conditions set out below, one of the rights granted to you by law;
- a longer retention period is authorized or required by a legal or regulatory provision.
During this period, the Site implements the organizational, software, legal, technical, and physical means capable of ensuring the confidentiality and security of your personal data, so as to prevent damage, erasure, or access by unauthorized third parties.
5. Access and subcontracting
Access to your personal data is strictly limited to FEATURING employees and staff who are authorized due to their functions and bound by a confidentiality obligation.
However, the data collected may occasionally be shared with subcontractors contractually responsible for carrying out tasks necessary for the proper functioning of the Site and its services, as well as for the proper management of the relationship with you, without requiring your authorization.
It is specified that, in the course of performing their services, subcontractors have only limited access to your data and are contractually obligated to use it in compliance with applicable data protection legislation.
6. Sharing with partners
If you accept our site's terms and conditions, only your "email address" data will be shared with the artist's organization so that it can send you occasional information by email such as: concert dates, merchandise, new album releases, etc.
With your explicit consent, you may agree to have your email address shared with the charity partner association of the fundraising operation, in order to receive information about its missions, awareness campaigns, and fundraising activities. This sharing is optional and is not required to participate in the charity lottery.
Outside of the cases mentioned above, FEATURING undertakes not to sell, rent, transfer, or grant third-party access to your data without your prior consent, unless legally required to do so for a legitimate reason (legal obligation, fraud or abuse prevention, exercise of defense rights, etc.).
7. Winner's data
The Winner's personal data may be used by Featuring or shared with its partners, as part of the organization and promotion of the event or for commercial prospecting purposes related to any other event organized by Featuring.
Acceptance of any prize by the Winner constitutes their consent to the use of their name and image to promote Featuring in any media, now known or hereafter devised, worldwide and in perpetuity, without further compensation.
8. Your rights
In accordance with applicable legal and regulatory provisions, in particular French law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 (as amended) relating to information technology, files, and civil liberties, and European Regulation No. 2016/679/EU of 27 April 2016, you have the following rights:
- Update or delete your data by logging into your account and adjusting your settings;
- Exercise your right of access, to find out what personal data concerns you;
- Request the correction of your data, if it is inaccurate;
- Request the portability or deletion of your data;
- Request the deletion of your account;
- Request the restriction of the processing of your data;
- Object, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of your data;
- Object to or withdraw your consent to the use of your contact details for sending our promotions and offers.
9. Exercising your rights
This right remains valid whether the information concerning you was provided to us directly by you or by third-party partners to whom you communicated it. In that case, you will need to click on the unsubscribe links provided in our emails, or contact us directly.
All of these rights may be exercised by emailing contact@featuring.org, specifying "INFORMATIQUE ET LIBERTÉS" in the subject line and attaching a copy of your ID.
