Kerchak X Les Déterminés

By Lilou Fructuoso

On July 7, 2024, our 5th charity lottery began at the Yardland festival, during its first edition at the Paris-Vincennes racecourse. Born from the collaboration between Yard and the We Love Green festival, Yardland creates an atmosphere where boundaries fade and every culture is celebrated. Artists of all styles — Amaarae, Gradur, Gunna, Zamdane... — came together to offer spectators an immersive experience. The 2024 edition lived up to all its promises; every performance was extraordinary. Between an amusement park and an unprecedented show, the festival made the Paris-Vincennes racecourse shine.

Kerchak, known as the hooded face of jersey drill in France, generously donated his stage-worn balaclava so his fans could benefit from it, and for a good cause. The artist from Bois-Colombes in the 92 department started rapping in 2016 at the age of 12, writing his first lyrics alone at boarding school. Tired of the lack of renewal in rap, Kerchak imposed his style in France and has continued to consolidate his place with singles like "Jane" and "Tarzan," exploring themes ranging from the harshness of urban life to lighter subjects.

Participants were therefore able to try their luck from July 7 to 18, 2024, by purchasing one or more lottery tickets at €10 for the Les Déterminés association.

Founded in 2015 by Moussa Camara, this association aims to offer equal opportunities in entrepreneurship for young people from underserved neighborhoods and provinces facing the same difficulties. They place deep trust in every entrepreneur; the human being is at the heart of their commitment. Their promise is to respect every person without distinction, to support projects, and to share their knowledge, expertise, and network so entrepreneurs can develop under good conditions.

During this lottery week, several renowned media outlets, such as Konbini, Interlude, and many others, collaborated with us. Thanks to this media visibility and our social media activity, we succeeded in making ourselves known and reaching a wide audience.

We thank Kerchak's team, Les Déterminés, and Yardland for trusting us with this charitable Feat, as well as everyone who shared, supported, and participated in this good deed.
