After Grégory Lemarchal died of cystic fibrosis on April 30, 2007, at the age of 23, his parents, Laurence and Pierre, and his sister, Leslie, decided that Grégory's success and courage should be used to mobilize the public to better fight this deadly genetic disease. Thanks to donor support, the foundation can fund research programs to save lives, renovate hospital services dedicated to cystic fibrosis to provide better care, provide financial assistance to get through a "difficult stage" or bring life projects to fruition, support adults with cystic fibrosis through the Maison Grégory Lemarchal to build a life project, and finally, raise awareness about organ donation.
