Fifty years after the formation of Malice, the teenage band that would become the first incarnation of The Cure, Robert Smith and the band will make their grand return to Rock en Seine next summer for a historic closing night. Since their first appearance at Rock en Seine in 2019, these legendary giants of English rock have released their fourteenth album, Songs of a Lost World, where haunting mists and piercing flashes of light unfold. In this “lost world,” this iconic band, whose musical heirs number in the hundreds, will still be there to support and amaze us, not only through their albums but also through their intense and spectacular live performances, with the dark silhouette of Robert Smith taking centre stage - a singer and songwriter whose uniquely distinctive voice has not yet finished moving us.
