The Don Bosco Association has worked since 1946 to strengthen social bonds and promote the inclusion of everyone. In 2022, their professionals and volunteers supported more than 10,000 people in vulnerable situations in the Finistère department: 1264 children, young people, and adults with disabilities. 1267 children and young people placed under child welfare services. 9255 people in precarious situations, supported through their social and professional integration programs.
The association brings together citizens committed to building a more solidarity-driven society in which every person can find their place and fulfill themselves through participation in civic life.
But who are they? They are young people from Finistère, aged 16 to 25, school dropouts and/or under judicial supervision who find themselves in a break with standard support systems. In order to re-engage them toward a future project, Don Bosco professionals accompany them in this gateway training program to lead them toward both social and professional integration. Above all, it is about restoring their self-confidence, rekindling their desire to learn and to project themselves into the future.
What project with the money raised? The Espace Insertion team would like to set up a RAP/SLAM project with Reynz: writing lyrics, creating backing tracks, and recording them in the Carène studios.
The goal? To help young people assert themselves, dare to speak up while developing their creativity.
